Meet Dr. Shimokawa - Maui Dentist

 Dr. Howard Shimokawa DDS.

Dr. Howard Shimokawa is a “real local” Maui boy who graduated from Baldwin High School. He received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Creighton University. 

Before becoming a dentist, Dr. S. was an U.S. Army helicopter pilot who served in Vietnam. 

A former Rotarian, he was past President of the Kihei-Wailea Rotary Club.  He has also served as President of the Board for the Kihei Youth Center.

Professionally, he is a member of the Hawaii Terry Tanaka Study Club.  Memberships include the American Dental Society, the Maui County Dental Society and the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry.
